1. Agreement
By using TransformText (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every page and tool on the domain, including the text tools, guides, and legal pages.
2. What the service is
TransformText provides free, browser-based utilities for manipulating plain text. The tools run on your device. The site does not provide storage, file hosting, accounts, or a guarantee that any particular transformation is correct.
The service is provided free of charge and without registration. It may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. There is no service-level agreement.
3. Your text and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the text you paste and to the output you create. You are responsible for having the right to process that text and for checking the result before you rely on it. Do not use the site to process material you are not legally permitted to handle.
Because processing happens locally, the site operator does not receive your text. That also means the operator cannot recover it, review it, or restore it after a refresh.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site for unlawful activity or to infringe anyone’s rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass its limits, or attack its infrastructure.
- Do not present the tools as your own product or remove attribution from copied content.
- Do not use automated requests in a way that degrades availability for other visitors.
5. No warranty
The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Text transformations, regular expressions, and diffs can contain errors. Verify consequential output — especially anything used in code, data imports, contracts, or production systems.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of TransformText is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunity, arising from the use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Intellectual property
The site’s design, written content, and code are protected by copyright and belong to their respective authors. You may link to the site and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, mirror the tools, or use the TransformText name and branding in a way that suggests endorsement.
Your input and output are not covered by this section. They remain yours.
8. Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites. Those sites are not controlled by TransformText and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how the site handles data. In short: the tools run locally, no accounts exist, and no analytics or advertising scripts are installed as of the effective date.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when that happens. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
